In this picture book there are 20 colorful photos of Australia’s stunning coast from the air. These images, portrayed in dry brush stroke style, were all photographed by pilot Fran West during her historic flight around Australia’s coast.

Cape Otway, Shipwreck Coast and Cape Conran in Victoria.
Port Douglas, Fraser Island and Thursday Island in Queensland.
Rocky Cape, Cape Pillar and Bruny Island in Tasmania.
Binanangoi Point and Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.
The first sequence is for looking and enjoying.
The second sequence is for looking and learning.
This time the photos have a word (or words) on them and can be used like flash cards.
Children will enjoy not only looking at the beautiful colored photos but the large text of the word(s) on the photos makes it very easy for learning new words.

Twenty pictures are shown with a dry brush stroke style. They depict the coast of Australia and it is indeed a rugged one.
The first portion is a "look and enjoy" and the second is a "look and learn".
I always appreciate the Zoom effect which brings the pictures to life for me.
Most highly recommended.
I really wanted to give this big high stars, but I find nothing to recommend it but the price. These images are not optimized for tablet readers. They don't pop" they are dull and flat. They are mostly landscapes which are especially dull and flat. If there was some information in it, I could rate it higher, as I could teach the children something about Australia and the animals/flora/fauna, but there really isn't anything left to recommend it. I'd love to teach the children about Australia, but this book won't do.
I'd like to get them interested and this book doesn't hold their interest or mine. If anyone wants to see pictures of Australia and has no other way, than this book is fine, but it's certainly not suitable for children= not unless they need to do research for a geography report and need pictures.
